Post by: DaveGTiMK on 21 August 2008, 16:22
Would a set of Alpha 156 wheels fit a MK3 16v Gti?

Specifically these....

these alpha wheels sold for just £12.00!

I have been looking for a new set as mine are disgustingly bad. Just thought I would look at other wheels that our out there, like Merc ones etc, I know I might need adapter plates for the 112 pcd wheels but I am trying to be carefull about getting the right offset.

Suberu wheels seem to have the same PCD and an offset that might work. What about these......

The bore is 56.1 on a subaru and 57.1 on your car. don't think they will fit without machining.

may stick to looking at Seat/VW/Audi wheels.

there was a debate a while back about location in your profile, should you be made to put a location in, as people always ask where your from? Mainly in the sale section but it does make it easier if you know where people are from in some situations.

It was left that this would be down to member choice but as an honest normal bloke I didn't understand why someone would leave this blank unless they were trying to hide something.

So I hid. In the midlands where Garry Glitter can't find me.
