Title: What shall I do? *FIXED*

I have no car so likely to be very bored. No point ordering mods that I can do right away as the car is in the garage. I'm still waiting for my handles from VW ~~slow~~ Speed aswell.

I may go order some interior trim from VW and get it painted ready to go in when the car returns.

Post by: T_J_G on 19 August 2008, 16:11: Should have it back tomorrow :smiley: my GF's Grandad did all the work in the end at the garage he works at, as it was cheaper than taking it 30 miles away and they'd have it about a week and still charge me OTT :shocked:

All that's been replaced is the fusebox above the battery and possibly the alternator but that seems fine at the moment so I am told. More updates when picked up tomorrow.

Fuse box needed to be replaced on top of battery common fault apprently. £50 part and £20 labour AND recovery :smug:

I'm a happier person now, and it seems faster and more responsive. :undecided:

I shall now proceed to wash and fit new door handles later.

Well my GF's Grandad works at a garage and the guy who owns it owes him alot of favours. So he picked it up and they sorted it for me. Happy as paying half under warranty + recovery would have been more and wouldn't have my car back as soon.

It's always good to see some before and after, which style of sticker did you go for?? did you stick them anywhere different?? :evil:

Went for window etched look. Just in rear window at moment going to do other 2 tomorrow. Not sure where.

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow when it's all been clayed, polished and waxed.
