Title: what wheels are these?..

what car are these wheels off?. if the centre caps are original then theyre obviously vw of some sort.
now i know that they are painted black but i have no idea what they are originally off?..

They are Mk3 Golf wheels. Apparently they were an optional extra, obviously they would have been silver.
Not sure what they were called though, but I had them on my old L reg 16v GTI. See:

ah, cool.. you know i had not seen them anywhere.. im going to put them back to silver though..
