Title: 5.25" components

I'm just about to replace my standard front 5.25" and dashboard speakers with a set of components, I don't want to spend stupid money , so has anybody got and sugestions or experience to offer up, Alpine ? JBL GTO's ect . Ideas and comments would be gratefully recieved.

i have a set of alpine sxe-1325s 1 month old but they are coaxials.

i'm looking at the alpine swr 17s but the spr 13s are the correct size for atadard fitment i'm planning on building custon door pods when i finish the bodywork and have a bit of time free. with comps i'm trying to get he expensive brands and higher end stuff either new off ebay or second hand as i'm on a budget but the more you pay is generally the better you'll get :wink: the sprs are fairly reasonable though good for amping aswell
