thought standard PSI was 8-9  :undecided:

a remap will take it to 15-18psi

i would never use a bleed valve. Its rough. And its to tempting to keep turning the boost up and up.

A boost guage is not 100% accurate BTW

we do have a boost guage. my boyfriend spoke to a mechanic and he said the safest is 6psi on a standard turbo. he wont keep turning the boost up, coz he doesnt want to damage the car, i think we will take it somewhere and have it all done proffessionly, thanks for your help

Unless you want to be picking bits of engine out of your face after it explodes - bin the bleed valve. (Okay a little exaggerated but you get the point)

I managed to get mine spiking at 26 and holding 22/23 .. most remaps will give between 15 - 20 psi.
