Title: Golf gti seats

hay guys just wondering if someone can fill me on on why the 2002 models and lower come with recaro's like these (http://liveimages.carsales.com.au/private/3434148.jpg) and why the 2003 model im about to purchase has these (http://by112w.bay112.mail.live.com/att/GetAttachment.aspx?tnail=1&messageId=8f024a4e-357d-40bc-ba31-619274d21a58&Aux=44|0|8CAC5FEA3156770|)  can someone tell me what brand of seats they are, if they are good and why they stopped manufacturing them with recaro's ????

Vw used their own 'sports seat' to save some pennies I think.

Recaros are so much nicer IMO

Agree.

Having said that, my Mk4 recaros developed a REALLY annoying "squeak", so if your buying one, watch out for that.

I want to do some modding to fit them in my mk3, just cant be arsed
