hey guys,
I bought a mk4 which makes irritating noise when pressing break pedal,
it is a squickly noise which happens on dry weather mainy,
do you know why it happens and also how i can avoid?
thanks in advance.

Almost all brake squeal in disc brakes comes from brake pad vibration against the caliper.
To stop this the friction clips and the areas of the pad that make contact with the caliper need to be thoroughly cleaned and degreased with brake parts cleaner and lubricated with dielectric grease, caliper lube, or anti seize compound. (Any of them will work)

I don't know if this would be covered by any of the above but copper grease also works a treat!

I got Pagid on the front, they squeel like a b!tch when breaking softly
took them out today, slapped more copper grease on and scraped the pads on the ground to take the shine off..
hopefuly sorted for a while, i reckon they'll need doing again in a couple of k's
