Title: Cabby Rear Wheel Toe In
Post by: Mounis on 12 August 2008, 19:45
Hi guys,

Mk1 1992 Rivage

Sorry for all the questions!!  I've got a little dilema, been tinkering with the new cabby, and I've realised it's got a slight prob with the o/s/r wheel.  Its toeing in a serious amount - maybe 7 or 8 degrees (by sight only) and its very obvious...  Am thinking, what adjustment is there avail, if any, to bring it back into line. and if not, what parts would be required to set it right?  someone has mentioned a rear beam etc...

Also, where could I possibly get exploded diagrams for the whole vehicle?

Regards

Mounis

there is no adjustment, it does sound like the beam is bent, or perhaps the stub axle :(
the stub is usually what goes as the beam is pretty sturdy, it can be unbolted from the beam but it requires the removal off all the brake components on that side.

as for exploded diagrams, ETOS or ETKA is what you need, its the VAG parts ordering system :)
