Think he wants to know what turbo the part no relates to :huh:
-
i have a k03 just wanted a k03s
-
I would say k03 if you look at the part no "KK03"
-
I think the 045 bit relates to the K03. The "S" bit doesn't actually exist. The S turbos are K03-052/053/058.

Yes, mate!! :afro: (I also got the sports cat fitted at the same time) although it's leaking coolant from the side of the turbo (still). :sad: It's already been back once, so it's going back again on Thursday, & will hopefully get sorted this time. (Along with a new R32 dogbone :smiley:).
I've also had the stage 2 custom code put on so it runs like a dream, now. :smug:

Don't know the exact output, ATM, but it should be between 220-230bhp (hopefully :wink:).

You don't need a high flow cat - I'm just greedy when it comes to power gains!!! :grin:
However, you will need a K03 "S" turbo inlet pipe (Forge, SMS or even OE AUM T.I.P.), though. And the remap, of course. :smiley:

ok good but i am like u abit greedy i will need the high flo cat :grin: :laugh:.
is it easy to fit urself?
I would've tackled it myself (there only looked like 1 awkward bolt to get to, but wouldn't be a problem with the right ratchet extension), but my turbo/downpipe was coming off anyway, so I just asked "When you're putting it back together, could you put the Sports cat on instead, please?" :afro:

No. My local specialist told me that with 95% of FMIC's he's tested, they actually produced a HIGHER intake temp.!!

AGU = 150 bhp - Throttle cable, KO3 turbo, 5 speed :- Re-maps to 195-210 bhp.
ARZ = 150 bhp - Drive-By-Wire, KO3 turbo, 5 speed. :- Re-maps to 195-210 bhp.
AUM = 150 bhp - D.B.W., VVT, KO3-S turbo, 5 speed :- Re-maps to 220-230 bhp. (***EDIT*** Some early AUM's still came with the KO3 turbo).
AUQ = 180 bhp - D.B.W., VVT, KO3-S turbo, 6 speed :- Re-maps to 220-230 bhp.
-
I seen that but it does say earlier models have ko3 how early we talking?
-
AUM SHOULD have the K03-s from the factory, tho a few AUM's (for whatever reason) have turned up with a K03. It's a lot harder to tell which turbo it is when it's on the car, I'm afraid. :sad: If you can see & read the no's off the turbo (on the blue plaque), i can then tell you which turbo you've got.
-
ahhh right cheers mate
-
IIRC wasnt it after 2001 that they came standard with ko3s's on :undecided:
