Hey people,
Just bought me a black set of G60 steelies. The previous owner had'nt used them and gave them a coat of black paint, which looks sweet but I literally knocked it v.slightly with my keys and the paint has chipped.
So - what do I do?
A) Add more coats of black
B) Add more coats of black then laquer
C) Get them powder coated
C) Something else?
I just want the colour to be more robust etc because the wheels are pristine and I don't want slight paint chips ruining them
Any help would be cool!

powder coating will give a very durable finish that will resist chips very well, duno how much you wouldpay but my local place charges from £40 a wheel dependant on size, and that includes blasting all the old paint off and fixing kerbing marks aswell

thats kl..
the wheels are mint as the guy bought them from vw new and didnt use them at all. so i guess that means i could find it a lot cheaper than £40 a wheel as the wheels dont need refurb?
also is the look and kinda finish of the colour thicker than you'd expect with paint? I'm liking the finish I've got atm, but I really cant keep them as they are else they'll get chipped and look a bit cruddy
