What are these like? any good?
anyone got a pic?
I have the chance to buy some... what u reckon their worth?
-
'solitude' alloys, 6 spoke 15" things. nothing special, couple of hundred quid for a set with tyres
-
do they have a little "indent" on each spoke?
-
6 spoke, yeah with a notch on each spoke
-
u reckon its a worthy upgrade from standard GTI alloys found on 94 onward 8v's and all 16v's?
-
nothing very exciting but could be worth the swap if the deal is good :)
-
Im gonna get sum pics of em ... see what condition their in! ???
-
Solitudes look pretty nice. Not exciting, but better than the standard gti wheels.
And as they only came on highlines and some colour concepts they are fairly rare.
I say get them if the price is reasonable.
Also they are much easier to clean than the gti wheels ;D

Easy to clean - thats one of the first things I think about when buying alloy wheels. Had a set of multispoke ones once and they looked great. But when they were in need of a clean they could be a pain. I got rid of them because of that reason. Got sick of the time spent cleaning all the spokes on them.
I was eventually paying my nephew to clean them for me coz I couldnt be bothered!
