...does it usually take for club merchandise to arrive? I ordered myself a set of number plate holders last Thursday and they've still not arrived...
My new plates have arrived today though

Fitted my plates yesterday afternoon. The old ones were a right b!tch to get off - sticky strips absolutely everywhere - even behind the plate holder! After a bit of hot soapy water and plenty of patience I managed to price them away and put the new ones on. I'm really pleased with how they look. My first mod

Did you fit them back on with sticky? I ordered a set the weekend for my newly aqquired german plates :smug:

I screwed the plate holders to the bumper using the original screws and used sticky strips to hold the plate in place. I put sticky strips on both the left and right sides and then cut a third strip in half and stuck it in the middle of the plate for added stickiness. All in all, job took me about 25 minutes (most of that was cleaning behind the old plates).
Now to order the Gti Anniversary grill badge and rear aero wiper kit. I've got the modding bug

i used the double sided sticky from halfords to fit mine and there solid as a rock :D

Didn't fancy making holes in me bumper
Think i'll just use some 3M double sided stuff, sticks like a b!tch anyways.

Fortunately the holes were already drilled. Just as well otherwise I wouldn't have wanted to drill the bumper either!
