Title: Free SatNav software and it's LEGAL
Post by: Jay on 07 August 2008, 22:36
Yo, Found this software Over here. (http://www.gpss.tripoduk.com/navi.htm). Seems like it will do the job for anyone who has a laptop they just need to buy the GPS receiver for around £30 or if you have a Smart Phone with Windows Mobile on you can just run it from that
Again the address is:
http://www.gpss.tripoduk.com/navi.htm

I'm going to get a GPS receiver and see how it works at the end of this month

Looks ok but for the price of SatNav's these days it would be easier to just go out and buy a proper one

Yea, but if you've got a laptop already all you need is the GPS mouse thingy.
Also useful for those of us who are putting a computer into our cars and want the SatNav integrated

Just tried it on my PC and it seems cool, sounds like it can respond to VOICE commands

why is Snoopy so annoying ?

Snoopy

If you run GPSS in it's UNREGISTERED state you will often see a little dog who looks like Snoopy.
Snoopy will say, "this software is unregistered: why not buy a key code ?"

Read it all, it says that you fill out a questionare/quiz and you get the code for 6 months and he can give you a code again after that

Or pay £20 for the "SuperKey" after 6 months if you like it
