Title: Stainless Sills and Footrest - now closed - thanks Gulf :)
Post by: Gulfstream11 on 07 August 2008, 21:00: As promised a while back.Some interest in these after the MKV ones I manufactured.Due to website been down and Donor car unavailable finally managed to fit and get pics.

Its night and raining.Big thanks to Steve here in sunny Donny. :drool:

Steve backed the logo,s himself with Red card as did the MKV boys and used white for the footrest grooves and sill slots.

Designing TDI type later this week.

Prices are.

£22.50 for the footrest including postage..This was the same price for the MKV section.

£23 inc postage for the 3 door sills

£32 inc postage for the 5 door sills.

for footrest and 3 door sills £41 inc postage.

for footrest and 5 door sills £46 inc postage.

Its next day delivery so If possible I,d like to run this on similar lines to the VRS one I did earlier this month.Hold the GB open until next Thurs,anybody who is interested then pays,I post Friday for saturday delivery.

1.5mm brushed stainless steel.Designed on latest CAD software and machined using CNC laser cutter.

either glue or use the bolts provided - existing one is held by one screw so you can remove it and drill the holes

Ready too ship etc but firstly a pic for the guys wanting "TURBO".

It was impossible to fit "turbo" across the footpedal similar to GTI etc.After a couple of attempts I gave up and redesigned it as so.
Its in the same theme as the R line pedal,let me know what you think and if ok,then...ok I guess.If not,sorry cant be done.

I got in touch with the post office anyway.Because the sills were packed in cardboard tubes they are posted as standard parcels,taking 3-5 working days.
Its a first for me these sills,I,m used to sending just seat inserts and pedals and expected next day delivery.Lesson for me and I apologise for the statement on delivery when you guys paid.
Still some to pay but I guess they just lost interest.No probs
