Title: Fuel Pressure Sensor Recall

Car was in with the dealer today to get the aircon fixed, and they told me about a fuel pressure sensor recall that the car also needed.

The recall must have just been released by VW as the dealer had no idea what the recall was for, etc, and mine was the first car they had had in that needed it.

Anyway, picked the car up and my sensor has been checked and ok so didn't need changing.  They still didn't know what the recall is for!

My car is an 06 reg.

VW has a recall on quite a few of FSI engines NOT just the golf.My RS4 was in last week for it,it only takes them a couple of hours.
Most 2006 engines i was told.Theres a thread on RS246.com about it in the B7 RS4 FORUM.

 Mine was in the garage on Monday and they told me this needed doing, it's on an '06 aswell but is going back in next week as they didn't have the part needed to perform the work then. They said it was a very recent recall and mine would be the first one they have done!

odd, when I checked last week there were no recalls or advisories for my 06 car.
