yeah it is lol i had no ncb when i insured my golf had a car waiting to be scrapped and the insurance was still running on it 6 weeks or so passed and the insurance ran out giving me 1 years ncb. i didnt bother to tell my current insurer till 7 months in to it and she said if you had told us we'd have given you some $$$$ back i was gutted my insurance for the golf was 1035 quid
you live and learn
you might have to change the owner info and get the tracking box active again iam sure you pay monthly or some thing like that
-
Pay monthly ouch. I feel i pay enough as it is on insurance with out another bill lol.
I will give direct line a call one day see what they say any way. See what percent drop they give.

I didn't realise my car had a 6 disc cd changer when i bought it. Got it home realised it was there and that it didnt work!

a guy i know had a similar thing he bought a ex mobility car which had a tracker took him a year to realise then when he phoned insurance he had to change the tracker name and address and update the module, it cost him £15 to have this done and a van came to him at work, it's £15 a year but saves him £100 on insurance

I didnt notice my car didnt have tax the day I bought it, drove it around for days before my old man reminded me - true story
