They are Work VS XX wheels. (Jap made)
-
Think the ones on the Golf are copies of the BBS LM design rather than actual BBS LM's.
Centre bit is different.

ooo Nice car
....Looks exactly like yours did except different alloys - I think I prefer your BBS alloys. I still think yours was the best GTI I've ever seen and you have not done one better since!
-
its a photoshop guys I'm afraid , but the wheels are real Morr forged alloys.
I posted a while back but I think it may have been lost in the forum crash
Check out the thread on golfmkv.com under R32 section,
from there Davefish is just waiting on a previous BMW group buy to finish before they build some Mk5 offset ones .
Various finishes available and very light.
I doubt with the R32 offset they will have as much of a pronounced 'dish effect' either.
There are other CSL style wheels available but they tend to be heavier than OEM so just for looks!
-
Are you saying that the wheels on the white ED30 is a photoshop? That is the best photoshop I have ever seen lol
Very nice by the way.

Dave dont be silly it great skills at photoshopping,

Hi DaveFish!
Just read the thread through and wondered if you'd had any luck with these wheels? They are awsome and I'd certainly be interested.
Cheers,
Nathan

Hehe good. I thought it was really harsh. Both Vortex and GolfMkV pulled my initial GB Feeler threads which had a lot of response. Thankfully I managed to collect the usernames of interested people before they went.

They have no vision or taste lol. Unlike the GTI crowd ;-)
-----------------
At the moment Morr are in the process of shipping wheels out to the BMW owners. They've had big delays but I've been told it will be a lot slicker next time around (first run of VS8 design). They're going to back to me once the dust has settled but basically, I've been told that if I can get 10 deposits they'll make them in 5x112 and ET50 (or whatever fits perfectly). Judging from the reaction on Vortex and GolfMKV I'll breeze 10 but you never know.
They're going to become a sponsor on GolfMKV and post up a GB thread soon. Should be up within 2-3 weeks with a bit of luck. My contact just needs to get the final green light from the boss (Carlos) but he doesn't think there will be an issue.
Cheers
Dave
Ps. Thanks Rob.

Obviously depending on cost  im interested Dave

....Yes they look fabulouso but I prefer to keep my Monza II's and powdercoat them. Those wheels aren't diamond-cut and lacqueured I hope! Can't quite see in the pic.
They'd be perfect on a Mk5 R32 - Much better than the stock alloys imo.

I do like these rims but I'm with RR here - I love my Monza II's better. Iconic design for the Mk V - can't see me ever changing them

Update:
All wheels are now shipped in the BMW GB The final finish (Signature Silver) is complete and it looks AMAZING! A brushed face with Sparkle Silver sides (see pics below). I am going to catch up with Morr and see if I can get things moving now. I want these wheels so bad!

I think they look very  in that colour on a Candy White GTI.
Are you considering some new rims for your ED30 182_blue???
-
I can answer that one he has enough wheels for an ED30 artic so probably yes.
-
I was considering a colour change on my spares, I did find this design before and liked it but it was rubbished previously by others for quality issues

I liked the finish you showed us a while ago on your old ST wheels, but I suppose it isn't that much darker than the standard pescara finish :undecided:

yeh, it can be made darker though , that said I would want a brilliant anthracite with a really glossy finish so they dont just look dirty

That sounds like a nice combo for a White ED30
If you don't mine me asking what sort of price have you paid for the wheels being sprayed in the past (I thinking of a colour change for a set of BBS RA's on my MK2).

the last set was about £200 with tyres removed and new ones fitted, it depends a little on the colour and finish you choose too
something like this is what i want

Good luck finding it though there is about 50 pages of candy white.
