Hi im new,

just thought i would come on and say hi as im waiting for my MK5 GTI to be built in red. hoping for it to be here on the september the 1st :)

Welcome to the forum.

May I suggest not mentioning the colour red as Hitler Phil gets slightly erratic and post pics all over the place.

And if you are doing the whole meets thing does that mean you are going to be modifying?

Good choice on the GTI mate, especially the Tornado Red, its gorgeous. Now the gauntlet has been laid down and and you need to get yours as clean and shiny as Phils, Phylis  (he's named his car) GLEAMS!

Look forward to seeing some pics of your new ride  :wink:

I intend to keep it very clean indeed as I have with my old cars (im a bit of a cleaning whore). As for modifying I intend to lower it, revo remap and maybe a few other bits as time goes by.  red robin you car is stunning.

i really dont think i can wait this long :(

....You've only got until 1st September to wait. Some of us had to wait for 12 weeks! It gets worse as you get closer (Tee Hee :evil:)

The car is just a standard red GTI with the arm rest and i-pod dock and also full heated leather as this is now standard. Phil your car is very very clean looks like i will have a bit of competition on my hands  :grin: Im hoping it will be here by the 1st anyway, it has been in the factory for the last two weeks already so im not really sure how long it will take ??
The girlfriend is already getting jealous has i haven’t shut up about it :grin: no doubt i will have to make up for it and take her shopping :(
