so happy finally, since i bought the car i had problems with the mapping etc...but went to Revo with the problem and they sorted me out !!! yeaaaaaaaa !!!!
and what a noticeable difference....really happy now coz i was thinking about selling it and thinking of buying the honda type R.
but Revo saved me from doing that.
honda type R aint that bad....well i would buy it when the golf dies...

I'm new to the VW scene but have heard good things about Revo from people. Re the Civic I used to own one in 2003. Nice cars but got bored with having to rag the tits off it all the time. Sold it and bought a Focus RS.

Thats the problem with civic type R's you have to rag them to get the vtec to kick in, plus they arent very torquey at all.
1.8t mk4's come alive when they have a remap, without them they are really quite dull
-
What exactly does a remap do? and roughly what is the cost?
-
a remap will increase your torque and bhp. Normally increase bhp by about 30-50 bhp depending on the engine and who maps it. It changes your car from something that will spin the wheels up in 1st to something that will spin it up in 2nd and kill a honda type r
