Well... not quite but hey!
I'm Stace, from good old sunny Devon.
Currently driving a a black Mk3 golf gti 8v. She is called Phattie. Had her since last november, and i love driving her. She is my 3rd Dub, and im sure there will be plenty more :)
I seem to have a small obsession with VW's, to the extent of having it tattooed on my wrist... twice. :)

-
Well i hope i never have to ask advice much, in the hope that my little dub behaves.
The current one is for sale. fancy a vr or going a little bit more retro over to the mk2 again.
-
Boo Hiss to the Mk2!

Now where is your dub love?
problem with the VR is i know a few people having problems with there's. it seems the mk3 is the most problematic.
either that or everyone i know is damn unlucky! lol
-
Yes, but its those problems that make dubbin' what its all about!! (i keep telling myself anyway)
Welcome to the site!!
-
There is a healthy emnity between the marques on here!
Mk 2 are boneshakers
Mk3 are boats
Mk4 are granny cars
Mk5 - well not thought of one yet!
Well considering the Mk2 section on here is the biggest they cant be trouble free!
generally though a vr is the least troublesome of the Mk 3's.
-
wel arent you vr lot a lucky lot. I got my mk3 when i was 19. and i just couldnt afford the £1000 insurance.
Although saying that i can now insure a vr, or a rado vr or g60 for well under 1k fully comp.
the joys of being a female :)
oh and i do believe you missed one out..... mk1?
-
never say anything derogatory about a Mk 1. Its the original and the classic. Was the best too!
-
get a mkII - and ignore len - the rest of us do :afro:
-
You just biased chuff! Hows the back? (See Mk2's are boneshakers!) :smug:
-
its not my bones
nerve still trapped btw
-
Ah but the shaking may have made the bones seperate to trap the nerve!
Sorry to hear mate! Hope it can be sorted soon for you!
