Title: infinty 13cm speakers

im new to this ICE palava, and I wanna know where I can put the 13cm infity 5002i I got for free in my 97 mk 3. (4 door)


I only have (very annoyed) 4 speakers, the two in the dash and two at the front door cards.  The speakers only have two tiny little lugs to connect up the wire and I have no idea what to do.

I think I could put them in the back door, but Id need somthing to make the hole in there a lil smaller if u know what I mean.  PLEASE can anyone help???

first you'll need an adaptor to use those speakers in your doors. Halfords sell these I think. The mk3 has 17cm front speakers in it's doors.

Take off the door card. You should see 2 wires going to the speaker in the door. use those 2. if there are 4 then it's VW's weird little system. I know the tweaters in the dash also have 4 wires going to them. If  you're still confused I'd run another cable to your headunit and just use 2 wires.
