a set of G60 brakes wouldn't be a bad idea. ;)
you'll probably need a set of clocks and the key as the imobilser is built into them.

hey dizze i see you have a 20vt in your (sweet) mk2 did you have to move any mounts or do any strenthening. also what box did you use ?
-
I have the engine, but it's going in the tuesday after Inters. From what I've read online about the 20vT swaps the engine mounts are all the same apart from 1 that you'll need of a mk2 engine mount for one of the back ones. I'll try and find out which.
Mine's a Audi TT lump so obviously (unless I have a secret rallye/syncro project going on) I won't be able to use the TT's box so we're using a mk4 20vT one.
Strengthing isn't needed as far as I know. I'm going to invest in some strut mounts to tighten up the cornering though. they look cool too :)
Take lots of pics if you're doing this yourself. :)
good luck

hmmmmm dizie,
wats the project you have got underway?
mines underway too :D------------>project g60! :D

dizze i spoke two bedrock veedubs in scotland and they said if i get a g60 rear mount it will fit the rear engine/box mount on the back
They also sugguested a passat h-m reg pedal box as the clutch is hydraulic and ours is cable
Let us know if you find anything else out of interest,
i :D
