Hi guys, just got my itg filter delivered and need a little help fitting it. What tools do i need and where does it go?

DJHorace is your best man to ask.. He (as well as a few others) has one and mentioed about fitting yesterday..
How much was it mate and where from?

Didnt know the engine cover had to come off. Better get the tools out lol :grin:

pull off the engine cover (hard) and the turn it upside down, undo the screws at the back of it underneth, tadddar air filter  :smiley: easy

The airbox is part of the engine cover. It did take a bit of force on mine to wiggle it off.

Also have some kitchen roll ready as the filter will be very sticky and will need a wipe to remove the excess oil before installation.

A tip:  make sure you take the black bungs/plugs off the engine cover once you have it off and put them on the attachment points in the engine bay, then either grease them or WD40 and the cover will pop straight back on  :wink:

When undoing the maf sensor does it pull off or do i undo the litttle silver torx screw just above it?

It just unplugs.......

maf sensor is off now. Need to take the engine cover off. Dont want to crack it so not sure how much force to use :embarassed:

Try one corner at a time, and make sure whatever you have hold of isn't too flimsy  :smiley:

The top right hand corner is pretty thick, will try and get that one off first
