i dont know if i told you this but the other week i was out in the vr6 and i got to race an e reg 911 big wing on the back so it may have been a turbo although i'm not sure anyway from about 30mph - plus he just couldnt get passed me ;D he had his kids in the back!
its a right thrill when you can either keep up or beat a faster car!......or put it this way a car worth tripple to the vr6 price! but the bargin is the vr6 only cost ?4k

vr6 surprises a lot of newer hot hatches.
its a lot faster than the 7.8 sec 0-60 vw owners manual quotes...
how many miles has yours done?
mine is on 80k, its really loosened up the last 10k :D
-
With respect, I doubt if he'd have been really tankin it with kids in the back of a tail happy Porsche.
-
Dosent a porsche 911 turbo hit about 180mph? so cant see why he couldnt get past u? maybe he was toying with u?
-
maybe he was just driving along normally. lol
-
Probably would have had his ear chewed off by the missus if he'd gone for it. ::)
-
Racing with your kids in the back....Not the smartest of ideas is it? Typical Porche Drivers ::)
-
People with kids should buy sensible family hatches like, erm, golfs :o and free up all the porsches for people who really need them.

I've had a lot of fun with a lot of Porsche's they looked shocked when what they think is a mk2 golf driver goes past!
-
i will soon have the best of both worlds...Porsche 90's on my mk2. gonna proper rub it in. hehe ;D

it was e reg!!! and i dont know if it was a turbo!
the 911 only have 160 on the clocks!
he must of been trying........
obviously he may have come passed at say about 120 140 if they go more top end!
but the vr6 does have 160 on the clock aswell!
dont for get his engine is a 3.2 mines a 2.8 and i have the advantage of newer electronic injection! plus a electronic static distributer so i dont loose any power even at high rpm........
did you know that you have to have the engine running on a 911 to check the oil level!!! :o :(
not very good is it! i wouldnt like to do an oil change on one of those and not know if you have put enough oil in! i think thats the only major gripe there is on a 911!
