Title: Dizzy timing on abf, would it cut my spark if out?

Hi, after 5 months of trying to find what wrong with my golf gti 16v, (was a 8v agg),of having i intial spark from coil lead when i turn the key, then the spark goes on cranking position!!,

ive changed everything, cranksensor, new dizzy, dizzy cap and rotor, coil pack and module, all relays, non immobilised ecu, engine coolant sensor,new loom!.

i did change the camshaft pulley while putting the engine in, i read that these engines have dizzy timing to the flywheel, my question is if somehow this has moved, would the ecu cut the spark?? because i cant think of anything else to try.

Hi, was just wondering if you managed to sort the problem and if so how you did it because I've got the same problem on my agg! Cheers
