it's not AS bad in real life, still quite bad though. it's screwed in the bottom, and attached (badly) with no more nails or something as bodged at the top. i'll get it tidied and refitted though.
DH im not a scene whore because I still have wheels of a sensible width and offset, and a car of a reasonable ride height. i'm under the impression that you have to massacre the drivability of your car to be in the 'scene'

Fair point, well put.
You're still a big tart.
When are the pink highlights going on this one?

Welcome back!
Nice valver!
What model saxo did you have? How does it compare, handling wise, to the GTi's?

i had a 2002 VTR. i had it lowered 50mm on apex springs and uprated gas shockies and a fatter 106 rear arb, strut braces etc., and power steering removed. it would run rings round the golf up any backroads, but then the golf is still standard isn't it
no pink lights atm DH, i might sort something out for the ring trip though.

don't be fooled by the brand snobs, the saxo was a very good handling car. the long range gearbox, however, was a nightmare. another gripe of mine was its apparent lack of rust proofing, or semblance of build quality.
little update on this, just bought been a 3 hour round trip to the west coast of this beautiful country (scotland) and bought some fk coilovers.

Not fooled...been there, done that, watched the seat fall out
Btw...it was for the pug not saxo
Good news on the colls....im awaiting to stick sum on the cab too
