I have had the dreaded over run stalling issue. Everything looked ok, then i checked the small pipe that runs from the right hand size of the throttle body. It had perished but you couldn't see it very easily as its braided . I've replaced it and no more problems.
So my advice is double check it if you are having problems.

Have you got a picture of the bit you changed?

Ill try and get one , its roughly 6" long and about 5mm wide. mine was black with white flecks on it.

I think i know the one you mean, but would be good to see what the damage was like

Visually it looked ok , it was only when you looked very closely that you could see that it had, had it. I pulled it off and the car stopped stalling , but felt under powered. Give it a try.
