Title: What modifications will you need to change mk2 golf engine to a audi 1.8 turbo ?

Cost me just over Ã‚£3k to convert my 16v to a 1.8t but that was doing it myself.

Post by: dubvrs on 25 May 2008, 15:04: Most straight forward way would be to use the Qpeng loom as what i did. www.qpeng.com (http://www.qpeng.com) They also do specific downpipes as well. Plenty of info on there.

Post by: russ-vdub on 27 May 2008, 10:08: It seems to me that you have no prior knowledge on what an engine conversion involves so Iw ouldnt even consider doing this until you know cars a little more first. No offence but this conversion isn't a walk in the park by any means, lots of engineering knowledge and car mechanical knowledge are needed. Let alone the electrical nightmare involved.
