Didn't want it on the dash, showing (perfect target for the smack head to nick), so ideal place IMO.. Anyone else have one?
Still can't believe VW don't offer Bluetooth as a option... :undecided:

Nice and tidy, I enquired about the Blue Tooth and it's not an option. But the dealers do offer the Parrott .

Is it easy to use?

Very nice, been meaning to get a BT system fitted in mine since I had it - what do you think of it?

As for those crazy little feet ...

Bluetooth seems fine (not had any complaints from people on the other end of the phone so far), easy to use etc..
My feet are out as the weather has been fine and couldn't be arsed to put my flip flops on whilst taking pics..

Did you fit it yourself and what was it like on a score 1 to 10 to install if so?

No mate, it'd be butchered if I did..
Had it fit at my local Autoelectricians.. £160 supplied and fitted for cash..  Took him just over an hour. So not to bad..

Does the voice come through the car speakers?

Price sounds ok, think I might have to get myself something sorted soon.

neat job.
I had one of these on my mk2 leon & mk4 golf good peice of kit, except the voice recog thing always wrong.but so are most voice act devices these days.
I bought the speaker b/t unit from parrot for £49 but its not as good as the ck31 range imo.

Yes there adapters available, i think they are called multi-can and work with the CK-3000 and LS-3200 kits.

I am going the VAG/Skoda premium bluetooth route for mine.

I'd rather have (and do have) the proper bluetooth that integrates with the RNS510.
Much neater solution and, more importantly, easier (by the looks of things) to use on the move etc.

Supplied for not much more than you paid as well.

Also, the standard location for the mike has a specific cut out/fitting in the interior light assembly (behind the grill nearest the driver).

Cheers for the tip mate.. I'll get him to fit it there..
I thought the Bluetooth through the RNS 510 was about £400? If it's the same price as I paid i'll be gutted, as I really wanted it through my 510..

Me too. I've just sold my unused/new Parrot CK3000 Evolution and MFSW interface/wiring harness so I can go with this kit as well

Although doesnt look like a straight forward install - also the Golf will have airbags in the A pillar so be careful if you remove this.

As posted above, not sure how easy this will be.

You need the highline as well,

i bought my car privately, and the first owner did not specify the High-Line comp!  So parrot it is for me, sometime!

there is a great nokia guide that shows you how to deal with the a-pillar without worrying the airbags. If anyone wants it, i can find it. The guide looks quite long, but fairly straightforward to get such good results

He is a member on here too (vrStu I think) or try his own website http://www.octavia-vrs.com/

I have a kit on order from Stu at present.
