Hi lads

My door droped today so when u open it u can feel it catching! pain in the arse. what do i need to fix it?

real easy mate. all you need is a trolley jack and a piece of wood,

open the door to the first notch, and place the jack underneath the door with the wood in place to stop the door getting damaged, and then just jack the trailing edge of the door up, little bits at a time, untill it closes flush again, did mine the other week and the doors shut like a brand new car now!

Mines been doing this for ages didnt know howto go about fixing it... are you sure this works??!?! wont get more loose or anything??? :undecided:

This does work. Ive done this many times but not on my Golf yet.

Would put a bit of rag over the wood just to be sure not to damage the paint.

And dont jack the door too much in one go so do it a little at a time removing the jack after to check progress.

Hope this helps as its the way ive done it aswell.
