Title: Cleaning MKV Exhaust Pipes
Post by: andrewparker on 23 May 2008, 10:41
Hi all,

I'm new to this forum having just bought a black MV5 Golf GTi, after my wife trashed my beloved BMW.

Never mind though, the GTi is fantastic and I'm really learning to love it.

I was hoping someone might be able to give me some tips on how to clean and polish up the chrome exhaust pipes? After a fair bit of use they are discolouring, and I like a clean car!

Any tips or advice?

Andrew

Belgom alu ftw mate... has a wax in it so your chrome pipes will have that little bit more protection

use a soft cloth... preferably a microfibre and don't press or pull on the cloth too hard or you will impart scratches in the chrome
