 :)Hi all.

I am new to the forum and wanting to become a vw owner.

I am looking for a karmen clipper golf which isnt going to cost me a fortune.

Do you have ant recomendations of where to look for one.

try our for sale section - mark1 cabbie has one for sale cheap!  :D other than that try e bay and the autotrader ofcourse -  but what exactly do u call not a fortune???

u should b able to get something fairly ok for that - make sure u give it a good looking over and check out matey matey for buyers advice.  u have picked the absolutely worst time of year to buy a cab -   looks to me like everyone is after one right now!!  8)

its definately a sellers market  :D

Welcome to the site, and best of luck finding yourself a nice cab, you wont regret it.
There are plenty of cab owners here who would be more than willing to offer any advice you may need.

It would be nice to have a incentive to get my golf as good as new.

Looks like your timeing couldn't be better, with the summer show season kicking off next week with GTI intenational, then The first of the VWAction shows just 4 weeks later.
Check out the shows and events section for more information.
The VW Action show would be a great one for you to take your new cab along for its debut outing, there will be a few of us there with cabs too.
