Does anyone know where i can get some relativly cheap hubcentric wheel spacers.
Im only after 5mm ones for the front.
My universal ones are a total nightmere.
Cheers

What do they do? :embarassed:
-
They just act as a shim between the wheel and the hub making the stance of the car wider.
Ive got universal ones on atm and i had to file them out to fit. was a nightmare.
Some people use them for looks ive got them for providing clearance between my coilovers and the tyre.

i have 5mm on the front just ordered some forge 10mm spacers for the rear to fill the arches.Ordered from america(ebay) £40 for both
Try venom for the 5 mm fronts they are reasonable in price but doesnt leave much thread on your original bolts.

id recommend longer wheel bolts i lost a wheel, not fun at all
-
You lost a wheel whilst in motion ? . What size spacer you running on the front then ?
-
yeah luckily i wasnt goin fast, the bolts went in far and were tight but it must not have been enough, ironically i was on my way to fetch longer wheel bolts! they are 5mm on the front, my wheel bolts are about a mile long now because i ot paranoid that it would happen again

Thats the setup I am running at the mo and I am about to do a motor way run :undecided: what have you done about locking wheel nuts ?
-
i dont have locking wheel nuts on mine, it never really gets left anywhere for me to worry about people nickin my wheels, with my new spacers im getting the sort that will bolt to my hub then the wheels bolt into the spacer with standard length bolts, want 20 rear 15 front

do you think having the spacers on the standard 16" wheels would be worth doing and if so sizes front and backl i notice most got for 5mm front and 10mm back?
