went up to newcastle on thursday on my way home ther was 5 in the car and loads of luggage went over a speed bump and BANG ever since the exhaust has been making a really weird noise like popping but not?
i have a mk3 8v gti scorpion stainless steel exhaust system and im gonna have a bash a fittining it tomorrow. what will i need other then the exhaust and exhaust clamps?
thanks

Exhaust paste for sealing it - apply liberally!
New rubber mounts if your's have been on a while.
13mm spanner as you'll inevitably have to drop the rear mount to get the whole thing together & sit right & also tighten up the clamps (if they are genuine VW).
Possibly a whacking stick & mole grips depending how old the current exhaust is!
That'll probably do it!

Wacking stick........ gotta love it 88! I replaced mine, but it dont fit right.
Custom is going to be the way.
Be careful that the center section dont twist when you try and get the exhaust nice and high up.
