Man i love boot polish  Getting all the parts i need to get her through an mot on friday, its all comming together :smug:
-
Can't beat it mate
-
nor can you beat a crate of chilled kronenburg ... probably the reason for this thread
-
did you use boot polish on the paint aswel?
looks nice. Autoglym bumper care man myself. Does this stuff rub off on clothes?
-
i used auto glym, was really impressed til a week later it had turned my bumpers white  so went back to boot polish.
it take a couple of seconds to dry, doesnt rub off on clothes and its really cheap ... cant beat it
-
If I was an MOT tester I would fail it for
"Looks uncool - ride height too high"
lol
-
 i hear that!
I actually have some 50mm lowering springs and dampers, my dad said the dampers are leaking oil and the bushes are fooked so i have to get new bushes and get the dampers re sealed (can some one do that?) before i put them on ... will gave to get that done as a matter of urgency ... i should think it would be freezing driving at those altitudes

aye didnt like the kiwi personally, kept with my autoglym.... do it every 2 washes, use one cloth to apply then another to buff it, in between treatments i just buff it with the same cloth i buff it with after an aplication, jesus does that make any sense??
anyhow, my bumpers always look black as the ace of spades so alls good

I think we've all seen the posts about which is better etc etc yadda yadda blah
At the end of the day it is personal preference which you choose, but I bet all those people who prefer auto-glym/back-2-black etc products are into their detailing compared to those who use kiwi who are tight arses who wash their car every 2 weeks with any old car wash shampoo & wax

Shoe polish above, I hate the autoglym stuff! it attracts dust and runs off when it rains! or did for me anyway. :)

Dampers generally cannot be overhauled. If the car was 50 years old when things were built properly, then maybe.
Depending on the type of dampers you have, it may be possible to buy new inserts for the dampers.
