I found Bell to be the best of the lot (really undercut their sister companies [elephant] [admiral])

Gti Ed 30 (20 years old, 2years ncb)

Haha well.. note i didnt say cheap just best of the lot :P

Took their bonus accelerator policy (10month cover plus almost all extra cover options) for 2200, if i was 3 years ncb it'd have been 1700-1800 im technically 3 years ncb now (May, took the policy out at the start of the year) but not sure if phoning them up would drop it any further.

Yes its still a bloody hefty amount of money but admiral and elephant were in the 3g's and everyone else 4/5g + lol

Cheapest quote i got for a 310~bhp evo 8mr import (was going to buy brothers from him) was £13'000, and considering everyone else was 4/5 grand plus for the ed30 i found my cover to be easier to swallow lol

Didnt enjoy handing that amount over for a slip of paper mind you but has to be done

Hahaha no, you read correctly... well technically it was something daft like £13128 i rounded it down to 13g's. I had to laugh at the time, although i was a bit gutted as i love the motor with a passion, i love my golf in a different way of course, very different cars

Will just wait 5 years or so before i enter into the group20 insurance vehicles lol (god knows what the ved, fuel prices etc will be by then)
