Title: hi all, new to MK3`s.

sup guys, never had a Mk3 before so be plz be gentle when takin da piss if some of these questions a stupid :cool:. 

   I got myself an R plate 5dr in black... which is more desirable 5dr or 3dr?
   Wipers (front + back)look hanging so gonna replace....can i replace with Mk4 or not?
   Door has been screwed, gutted :sad:.... will Mk2 door plates fit?
   Back box lookin sad but want to keep car standard`ish... ideas plz.

I`m sure these loads to find out about this model.  Any thing you can think of that might help would be welcomed.... Cheers all.

Wipers you will have to check lengths of arms.

Back box - many different types out there usual replacement is the twin pipe like mine.

I believe you can get door plates for Mk3's sure someone will confirm that.

you can get aero look wipers blades but mk4 arms wont direct fit (I tried and the thread is different!) and door plates are avalible from most vw places like gsf,euro etc (good to hinding break in damage)...oh and the exhaust choice is endless...some are fairly standard looking and piper exhausts have about 10 tailpipes choices!!

no - the mk4 wiper won't fit the mk3 to the best of my knowledge

if you find anything decent that fits let me know

iv just put some armour door plates on mine, i have no break in damage but as i have to leave my car outside countless nightclubs, the weekend just gone mainly as i had to leave it in a very dodgey street in the west end of London till 6am in the morning, thought the plates were a good idea
