I got a 10disc sony cd changer and i want to install it in my MK2 Golf GTI but im not sure of the best position for it, any ideas guys?????

The shelf under the glovebox? If you didn't want to go to to much trouble?
-
If its under the shelf cant t-leaves see it and think "i shall smash the window and knick it!".
Its too big to go under the seat and im not sure whereabouts in the boot it could go, why is nothing ever simple
-
i used the two original holes in the boot to secure a piece of MDF using nuts and bolts.
i then screwed the changer to the wood. Simple
What you recon?......

Good thinking, you got the same changer as me, Sony 10 disc changers are very good and mine has NEVER skipped.
Time to get out the old jigsaw and MDF,
Thanks for the advice!!!

My friend put hers in her glovebox. Just a minor mod to the back for the wires. Looked a nice neat job and no need to get cold when changing the discs in the winter.
