Title: Number Plates...
Post by: ToRo on 20 May 2008, 20:40
Just wondering where the law stands with plates that have a black background and grey text, like Guernsey (sp) and older vehicles?

No, I'm not.

Aye, at least not without giving the forum, and the queen, sixteen weeks notice of your intention to go on holiday.

The only thing plates like that will set off are alarms in the heads of policemen, who will see a prohibition notice and £30 and upwards fine.

It's a mode of transport not some sort of art-form.

What the hell is 'stealth look' anyway?  you going to stick wings on it and make like you can avoid radar detection?
