I like Ferrari's, but would never want to own one. I'd feel a bit of a knob driving it and would never want to leave it anywhere. :embarassed:

Good photo's Martin, but I prefer the GTI !

Ferraris are too "in your face" IMO, inpractical, and those silly badges on the wings, is that in case you forget its a ferrari? lol!

Your car looks like its just been polished, or you keep it very clean

....A (rich) friend of mine had a Ferrari F40 in London but constantly had problems with very unwanted attention and he didn't keep it on the street either! Consequently he had a Brabus Mercedes as his daily drive.

All spaces should be like that, ok they take up more room, but your car doesn't get damaged. I hate "door dingers", they should be killed and eaten.

Someone I know had a Ferrari too and didnt like the attention - he swapped it for a 911 Turbo.  Another guy I know thought about one too but decided against it due to the attention/comments it would get, he opted for a DB9.

To be in that position eh .....

182, nice comment

Funny you should say that Robin because there are a few lads in my kneck of the woods who got rid of their Lambo Gallardo's because of the attention. Now all of them drive either SL55's or 4x4's.
There is still 2 lads who drive a Lambo Gallardo SE and a Ferrari F430.

I'll have to get pics.

There is another lad whos dad is a major property deliver in the area (Mandale Grp) who drives a white Gallardo convertible. His GF is so damn HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish i had the Money for a new Gallardo LP560

....This guy is also a property developer and has always had very fast cars (he's an excellent driver and a close friend of Earl March who owns Goodwood). He lives in Chelsea. I've been in his passenger seat for quite a lot of miles. We once did a car project together rebuilding a customised Porsche and I did the interior styling. Derek Bell tested it at Goodwood.

if anyone has one of those crappy f430s and wants to do a straight swap for my fantastic ed30,  pm me and we'll have a deal  come on boys ( and girls ) i think most of us would like a nice f430 in red. i would leave the kids at the in laws and get a roofrack for it to cart my mountain bike around. the kids might even fit in the luggage bay!

It takes a lot of balls and money to start modding a 599 GTB, Is that a Hamman conversion by the way Rob?

Did some work over in South Kensigton (posh part of London) a few months back now. Should have seen the car park. My old little MK4 looked a little out of place lol

Thats just a little bit of it, every car in this car park was just stunning.

That M5 reminds me.

My dad had his a$$ kicked by a white M5 the other day while riding his one bike:

Thats a Kawasaki Zx14 000 GTR and the BMW owner pulled up and said hey. Nice bike. Wanna drag? My dad laughed and said hell yeah and at that point could keep up with the M5 but could not pass it. Had he been on this one though things would have been very different: (The blue one in the background) 0-100 in 2.1 seconds

The GTR is the touring version of the blue one and has less HP but still flies.
BTW. The BMW driver pulled over and popped the hood. He had over 15 000 pounds worth of mods. Everything from suspension to (I stand to be corrected) getting the car BI Turboed

My dad says it changed gears like a formula 1 car. It took like 3 or so seconds per gear change
I wish I was there.

 :lipsrsealed:

0-100 in 2.1 seconds

That is crazy, how can you get that much traction to actually take you to that speed in that space of time, sounds mental !!!!

The bike itself is close to the same size of the GTI, length wise. It is a huge bike. Huge back tyre etc.

Its is Kawasaki's fastest production motorbike and apparently the worlds most powerful production bike. The pics are meant to go in the Photography thread but here we are:

The rear end of the bike. My dad has also got "Two Brothers" exhaust pipes on both his Kawasaki's.

All the bikes together.

And the front of the blue bike next to its slower brother:
