Title: Front Engine Mount?

Any one got any idea how easily this can be changed? From my understanding its 3 bolts?

Anyone done this / have a how too?

you un bolt the starter motor  (being sure to support the engine with a brace or a jack and block of wood on the sump)

Then you can bang the centre nut out the mount, might have two at the side as well i cant remeber but it is straight foward you will see what needs to be done when you look at it.   :smiley:

i might be a bit confused... whats the metal bit that attaches to the gearbox then?

I found the easiest way was to put the jack under the sump with a block of wood, undo the front mount from the top then undo the subframe (x4 16mm bolts if i recall) and pull it out underneath. You can then change the mount on the subframe and pop it back in. I took one look at the starter motor and decided I wasn't even going to begine on that!

Cheers pete, but its not the rubber, its the acutal metal mount that im after replacing, whats this called, anyone got EKTA?
