Sorry guys, a real numpty question.
I'm looking to get a touch up paint stick and want to know the exact colour of the car. It's a silver 2000 Mk4 Gti-T. i.e. what variation/name of silver.
Again apologies for the numpty question.
Cheers

i am thinking of doing mine, just tell me the address please.

Could be the same as mine if it's 2000 code is LB7Z - Satin Silver
-
There where two types of silver, Satin and Reflex. The reflex is more metalicy than the satin, if that makes sense.
-
satin silver is like the pearl colour, reflex is the lighter sharper silver

Well done Ash, you did a better job of describing it than I did. I was thinking about how to explain the diffrence but came up with nothing lol.
-
Didn't Satin stop in 2001 and change to Reflex?

I was thinking something along these lines but wasn't sure so didn't say anything,

to answer the OP's question - look for the sticker in the spare wheel well - should be a 4 digit code for the paint
alternatively take your chassis number to the dealers and they should be able to provide you with the exact shade - the codes maybe the same but sometimes you can get slightly different shades meaning a poor colour match

my mate has a 2000 mk4 in reflex silver so not sure this is the case
