Hi there,
I have been using AG SRP, then extra gloss protection (seems to make the metallic flake pop) and finally topped with Meguiars carnuba wax.
All told it seems to work, but wondering if the effect can be improved?
I am considering dodo juice purple haze, unless anyone has any other suggestions.

Meguairs NXT 2.0 Tech wax followed by Klass sealant and then P21S (now R222) carnuba wax. Lasts ages and looks "wet"
Well thats what I do and it seems to be the best result I can get, and I have far too much car detailing stuff in my shed!

Nxt is quite good, spread it thinly and evenly and apply a second coat to ensure full coverage
-
Pinnacle Souveran Wax is excellent on black and reds, really makes the flake pop on pearlescent Diamond Black

As he said.
If you put two layers on it looks even better. Makes the black look really strong and wet! You will have people staring like hell
Leave atleast 10hrs before applying the 2nd layer of wax. What you want to do is either wash and wax it on an evening and then the following morning rinse, dry and then apply the 2nd layer of wax.
Heres mine with two layers of wax:

You see how solid and deep the colour is.
I dont really like the falkey bits to stand out.

Who makes this P21/P222 wax? I always get confused by just product names, I never know what to look for!
-
:( Im finding it soooooo hard keeping my black looking "clean" let alone "wet". I've booked Saturday morning in for a proper session of cleaning.

Thankyou sir!
No probs
I went back to my origional post and edited it as I had called it P222 by mistake! Its R222 and it is very good. They have also renamed the Klasse Sealant Glaze (great product) to Car-Lack 68 Long Life Sealant (Klasse Sealant Glaze).
Easy on and easy off with a great finish.
-
There is also a new 100% Carnauba R222 which is slightly more expensive:

thanks guys for all the recommendations, think i,m going to get the r222, and give it a go.
Also toying with the idea of a g220 and there are some light swirls, but it has done 40k so that's acceptable.
