how do i fit the temp sender?do i need to take the housing apart?if so do i need new seals?is this job difficult?

Temp gauge sender unit should simply unscrew from the housing.......screw new one in.
Can't remember if its an o ring or washer, suspect o ring. Either way, ideally, you should replace.......however if its not damaged you'll probably get away with re-using.

Sure you got the right one? Temp gauge one is in the housing at the opposite end to the timing belt, if memory serves me correct.
