Title: Golf GTI MK4 Lowering Suspention

Hi All,

I own a golf GTI 2.0 MK 4 on a 52 plate.I have recently replaced wheels with 16" Montreal 2's.The rear of the car sits quite high and i would like to lower it it measures about 80 mm from wheel to arch.I don't want to put an after lowering kit on it, i want to lower it to the height of the golf GTI 1.8T as not to lose the ride quility. Do i just replace the springs with 1.8T springs or do i need to do more work.
