Title: Headlight options and opinions
Post by: Vdubbster on 16 May 2008, 16:27
Hi,

I am looking onto changing my headlights. I have been reading previous posts in relation to the options.

Several posts have been about problems with what rings/lights come on with sidelights/headlights.

anyway, I think I prefer the look of the FK's below, I like the layout of each area within the light:

(http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/7006/kujhgkgza7.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)

Although these have four lights? I believe side/main/indicator/fogs all in each unit [:s]

Has anyone here any experience with these units????
I know they are not as good quality as the hella items below \/ but cheaper and better looking IMO.

OR do people think Quad hella/Morettes are the way?

Anyone? Thanks

personally i dont like the morrete type lights, on the right car they can look good though.

Only lights id change to would be the BMW ring style jobs

Well I did them two years ago but have since be told they were not done properly.

They are a pain to take apart, you need to heat them up as to melt the factory glue/adhesive!! I used a hair dryer but you could use your oven :-I

I did the exact same, did them like yours now, then was informed they were not like the actual e-codes, so did them again!!

Easier second time if it helps
