could it be a blocked fuel filter???causing pump to work over timw help please

could be, just double check it's not the central locking pump behind the o/s rear brake cluster though

no i unpluged fuel pump and noise went off:)putting a another pump on:)

You could try changing the fuel filter first. It sounds like your pump is straining.
