Title: Bonrath Power Lifter Bonnet Struts

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a site that has the fitting instructions for bonrath power lifters for a mk2. I have recently picked a set up on the cheat but they do not have the fitting instructions. Alternatively do you have a copy you could e-mail me?

Also the struts seem to be set solid (no rust) is this how they should be?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dunno about those particular ones, but the struts I got for my Mk3 VR6 were virtually impossible to compress by hand.... 

They were relatively simple to fit, one end replaced an existing bolt that was holding the wing on, and the other end replaced a bolt on the Bonnet hinge.

Cheers for the info. i cant compress them at all. but they are in a1 condition so dout that they are damaged.
