Hi guys
I realised the abs light on my golf had been disconnected because when turn ignition on nothing showed
Had a little play yesterday and plugged all back together and hey presto light came on and stayed on.
But the handbrake light also came on and stayed on? is this related to the abs? or another problem?
Im hoping its just the sensors and nothing else.

Handbrake warning light will stay on constant with the ABS light to show multiple faults with the system, probably both rear sensors gone
-
what Pete said, my mk3 fronts both went and the handbrake light stayed on til i fixed them.
-
might have been disconnected for the mot or something..its easley missed by a numpty mot station..

if it stays on like pete said could be your sensors
-
vag com will tell you what sensors are not giving a signal. can be picked up cheap enough and fitted easily... there is a guide on here i believe
-
Yeah i figured a sensor or two hopefully anyway! Guess i need to get it checked via vagcom to see which ones need replacing. Just wanted to make sure the handbrake wasnt goosed as well
