WAS THIS YOU?
if it was then i gotta give it to you mate thats one GTI ROCKET!!
anyway ive gotta mk5 gti we had a little drag race and got to around *** mph shifted into 6th then the white mk2 just flew off!!!
seriously guys that was one super gti, i stuck my thumb upto the guy saying well done mate he flashed me back
you gotta watch out for these old skool gtis, some are well underestimated.

Well, bang a 1.8T engine in and tune it a little and it will thrash a MK5 GTi.
-
i think it may have been a 2.9 g60? as there supercharged!!
a turbo wont have that much torque at ***mph???
said something on the back but couldnt read it properly.

Is the 2.9 g60 what you think it said then? If that is the case it will be a supercharged vr6
-
yup. it would be
-
@Mew it looked similar to yours but in white.. really low, single headlights and gold rims.
think it was a G60 badge on the back in slanted writing.
i may have to consider getting something like this just for my own pleasure in modifing it.
my mk5 is expensive even for an airfilter is around 190quid :undecided:
i do like the corrardos but im guessing every one for sale must have been thrashed

Not to mention the extra weight compared to the MK2 Golf.

Buy a Golf G60 if you don't mind LHD. You will never look back.
As for a 2.9 G60, well I've never heard of one. And I wouldn't think the compressor would be up to the job of supplying 6 cylinders without serious modification to its internals. (But I do stand to be corrected if I am wrong.)

I'm taking a guess @ a VR6S too
